Akdeniz University Women Entrepreneurs Society (Akdeniz WES)

The Akdeniz University Women Entrepreneurs Society was established with the aim of increasing entrepreneurship awareness—primarily among women, as well as university students and members of the wider community—encouraging students to pursue entrepreneurship, and developing their entrepreneurial thinking skills.

The Society seeks to enable students to become familiar with entrepreneurial career paths through internship and mentorship practices, to encourage them to take an active role in the field of entrepreneurship, and to enhance their entrepreneurial competencies through practice-based learning processes.

Through the projects, events, and competitions carried out in this context, the Society aims to promote the dissemination of an entrepreneurial culture and contribute to the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The Society’s activities are conducted in coordination with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of TurkeyAntalya Women Entrepreneurs Board. This collaboration facilitates the involvement of external stakeholders and strengthens students’ interaction with the real sector.
